NextMe Partners with Magic Leap to Manage Crowds at CES
Magic Leap, a leading developer of augmented reality (AR) technology, was looking for a solution to manage the onsite waitlist of attendees at CES who wanted to experience live product demos. The company needed a way to streamline the process, reduce wait times, and ensure a positive experience for attendees.

The Challenge
CES is one of the world’s largest consumer electronics shows, attracting over 170,000 attendees. With such a large volume of people, Magic Leap needed an easy way to manage their waitlist of 1,200 visitors per day for product demos. The company also wanted to ensure that attendees had a positive experience while waiting, as long wait times can lead to frustration and dissatisfaction.

The Solution
Magic Leap partnered with NextMe, a leading provider of onsite event management solutions. NextMe’s platform allowed Magic Leap to create a virtual waitlist that attendees could access from their mobile devices. Attendees could join the waitlist using QR codes and self-service kiosk and receive real-time updates on their estimated wait time.
The Results
20% increase in attendee throughput
Streamlined check-ins allowed Magic Leap to handle more attendees efficiently.
1h 20m saved per attendee
Instead of standing in line, attendees were free to explore the rest of the CES event.
Fewer staff needed
Magic Leap was able to operate their booth with a leaner event crew.
Valuable data insights
Magic Leap was able to access real-world data about their attendees and wait time tolerances to inform future events.

NextMe was a game-changer for our onsite operations at CES. The platform made it easy to manage Magic Leap’s high-demand product demos, keeping attendees informed and reducing frustration. We couldn’t have asked for a better partner!
